Various Hindu organizations formed a human chain in Madikeri recently under the leadership of Cow Protection committee, condemning the inhuman act of cutting the udders of cows in Chamarajpet, Bengaluru and demanded strict legal action against the perpetrators.
Leaders and activists of various pro-Hindu organizations gathered at General K.S.Thimayya Circle in Madikeri and expressed their anger by shouting slogans against the government for not taking appropriate action against those who committed atrocities on cows, which are revered by Hindu society.
Activists of pro-Hindu organizations formed a human chain at General Thimayya Circle and strongly condemned the incident by blocking the road. They demanded strict laws for the protection of cows. Later, they went to the Kodagu Deputy Commissioner’soffice ina procession and submitted a letter containing demand to safe guard cows.
President of Hindu Vigilance Forum Ravi Gowda said that the religious sentiments of Hindu society have been hurt by cruelty to cows. He demanded immediate legal action against the culprits.
Mahabaleshwar Bhatt, head of Vishwa Hindu Parishad’s Mutt and Mandir Priests Division, said that the most sacred cows were attacked and a heinous act was committed. It is wrong for the government to decide that the case was caused by a mentally ill person even before the investigation. He demanded that the entire case should be properly investigated and strict action should be taken against the culprits.
Kukkera Ajith, the former president of Hindu Vigilance Forum, said that the perpetrators should be punished appropriately and demanded that strict action should be taken to prevent such incidents from happening in the future.

Jagadish, Subrahmanya Holla, B.K. Arun Kumar, Kannanda Sampath, Vinay, K.S. Ramesh, Satish Pai, PM Ravi, Savita Rakesh, Kannike, Dean Bopanna, Arun Shetty and other important personalities participated in the protest.
