A truck ran over a girl identified as Ganavi (6) from Majjigehallanear Thithimathi recently who succumbed to the injuries. A case has been registered against the driver at the Gonikoppa station. Police said the driver had been taken into custody for investigation. Residents demanded that a speed breaker be installed at the site, where the accident took place.
