Two youths identified as BN Rakshith (22), from Balekadu and Manju (24) from Garaganduru village died on the spot after the motorbike they were riding collided with a lorry on the National Highway near Maruthi Nagara, Kodagarahalli recently.
Rakshith was a final year degree student at Field Marshal KM Cariappa College in Madikeri and Manju was a welding worker.
The lorry was coming from Kushalnagar. After hitting the lorry, the motorbike fell into a drain, resulting in the death of the duo. A case is registered at Suntikoppa police station.
