Student drowns in river Cauvery

Uwais (13), son of Aneef, a resident of Emmemadu village, near Napoklu died while going for a bath. It is reported that Uwais, who had gone to play at Kudil near Emmemadu, accidentally drowned in the river when he went to bath in the   river with his friends. Uwais is a student studying at an orphanage in Ememadu. Napoklu police visited the place, the fire brigade personnel and locals searched for the dead body and search operation was hampered due to heavy rain and the next day search continued and body was found informed Napoklu town Station Officer Manjunath.
