Govt will be recommended to provide more grants in the coming years for Kodava hockey festival: Minister Byrathi Suresh

Urban Development and Town planning Minister Byrathi Suresh speaking at the Muddanda Cup Final Tournament said that Kodava community’s contribution to the development of  society is extremely important. A.S. Ponnanna, who is an MLA from Virajpet and a legal advisor to the CM, is known as the government’s trouble shooter.

The state government will always support Kodagu and Kodavas. The government is ready to provide necessary assistance to Kodagu no matter what help it needs, Minister said.

The minister also informed that he will recommend the government to provide more grants  for the Kodava Family Hockey Tournament in the coming years.

Minister also informed that the government has helped the Kodava community by allocating land worth of more than Rs 50 crore to the Bengaluru Kodava Samaja.
