Anil H.T. elected as new President of Kodagu Journalists’ Association, Suresh Biligeri as General Secretary

Anil H.T. has been elected as the new president of Kodagu Journalists’ Association (R) and Suresh Biligeri as General Secretary, unopposed.

At the annual general meeting of the association held at the Madikeri Patrika Bhavan under the chairmanship of current President S.A. Muralidhar, Senior advisor of the association T.P. Ramesh announced the names of the office bearers for the new management board after obtaining the consent of all the members present in the annual general meeting.

Senior journalist Anil H.T. has been elected as the president of the association, Suresh Biligeri as general secretary, Telapanda Kavan Cariappa as vice president, T.K. Santosh as treasurer, Prasad Sampigekatte as Joint Secretary of the Association. S.A. Muralidhar, the immediate past president of the Association, elected as permanent invitees. G.V.Ravikumar as Kshemanidhi president, Arun Coorg as General Secretary of Kshemanidhi

District Committee Directors: Ujwal Ranjith, T. G. Satish, T.J. Praveen Kumar, Ranjith Kavalapara, Syed Irfan, H.N. Lakshish, Gurudarshan, P.V. Prabhakar, Kudekal Santosh, Vatsala, Rani Arun, Mohammed Hanif, M.N. Nasir, Ashwath, S.G. Umesh, Vishwakumar, T,C. Nagaraj, Shivappa were elected as nominated members.

T.P. Ramesh, B.G. Ananthashayana, Sridhar Nellithaya were elected as Honorary Advisors of the Association.

Vignesh Bhutanakadu will continue as the president of Kushalnagar Taluk Journalists Association, M.B. Vincent as the general secretary, Harish Kumar as the president of Somwarpet Taluk Journalists Association, D.P. Lokesh as the general secretary, Mudosh Poovaiah as the president of Virajpet Taluk Association, Usha Pritam as the general secretary, Kiriyamada Raj Kushalappa as the president of Ponnampet Taluk Association, and Vinod Moodagadde as the General Secretary.

The oath-taking ceremony of the new management board of the association has been scheduled for 6 pm on March 22 at the reception hall of Red Bricks Inn, Madikeri, according to a release from the association.
