Diya Bhimaiah shines in Sunrise National Level Sub-Junior Badminton Tournament

Boppanda Diya Bhimaiah from Kodagu won the first position in the doubles category in the 19-year-old girls’ category of the Yonex- Sunrise National Level Sub-Junior Badminton Tournament which was recently held at Panchkula, Haryana.

In the doubles category, Diya Bhimaiah along with her doubles partner Haryana’s Baruni Paruswal won the first place.

Diya Bhimaiah presently doing her first year PUC at Vidyashram PU College, Mysore and is training under Medura Arun Pemmaiah and B P Bhimaiah at Sports Park Academy. Diya is daughter of Boppanda Kusuma and Bhemaiah of Dechur, Madikeri.
