International Day of Democracy… human chain formed in Kodagu

To mark the International Day of Democracy over 40,000 people took part in Kodagu to form a human chain.

Children were seen dressed up as national leaders, achievers and freedom fighters.

Kodagu District in-charge Minister N S Boseraju praised the efforts of the government, NGOs, students, teachers, police and others who participated in the event in making it a success at the district-level event held at the Field Marshal KM Cariappa Circle.

Chief Minister’s legal advisor A S Ponnanna was also present on the occasion.
