Thanks to the CLN team for publishing article on Hidden gem Diya Bheemaiah,
Most badminton stars are from Hyderabad now we have a rising star from Kodagu,
Wish her all the best for her national training, Hope to see her shortly representing India ..
Exceptionally talented youngsters like Diya need all the support that the Community and beyond can provide. Her parents have stood by her like a rock and also an emotional shield – an absolute prerequisite for children and young adults to sustain their performance at that level – and remain motivated to keep improving.
Badminton has a few really talented stars in the country. Many of them are coached at private academies run by Gopichand and Padukone. At some point in her career she will need to train there too for breaching into the top 10 in the world to translate her potential to realize her dreams. We have to provide DIya and her family with all the well-deserved support that she needs and look forward to hearing more on this front.
Well in the coming days DIYA BHEEMAIAH might be a name to reckon in the badminton arena. Yes we all wish that it should happen too. But what’s more heartening is CLNs motivation to encourage rising stars from among our small district. It makes a huge difference to upcoming sportspersons when they are featured by a newspaper. Hats off to CLN for consistently encouraging our youngsters.
Godbless DIYA BHEEMAIAH in the days to come.
