Food Safety and Quality Implementation Officer Dr. Anil Dhawan visited some hotels in Madikeri and Kushalnagara recently and inspected them.

Dr. Anil Dhawan directed to maintain cleanliness in hotels and resorts and informed to do health checkup of kitchen staff time to time

He also advised not to use artificial colors in food preparations and added that eggs, fish and meat should be stored and used at appropriate temperature.

As per the instructions of the Food Safety and Quality Authority of the Department of Health and Family Welfare, the Food Safety and Quality Act implementation movement has been launched for two days recently.
