Never ending story of man animal conflict … one more death of an innocent planter

A recent wild elephant attack has killed Ayyamada Madaiah (63) (Bogga) who was going to his estate in the early morning  at Biruga village of Ponnampet taluk. 

It has been reported that more than 40 wild elephants have taken shelter in various estates in Biruga and Churkha and the government has not taken any action in this regard the residents complained.

The villagers expressed their anguish over the forest department and insisted that the dead body will not be removed from the place until the arrival of the senior officials. Some leader of the Raitha Sangha, expressed their helplessness with media saying that it is difficult for coffee growers and laborers to live here.
