In a tragic incidence Businessman Ramesh murder accused Ankur Rana escaped from police custody. The incident took place when he was taken for spot inspection at Uppal, Telangana state. It is reported that there were 13 policemen were on duty when he was escaped from police custody.   Now the Kodagu police filed a complaint against Ankur Rana at the Uppal police station. Kodagu Superintendent of Police (SP) K Ramarajan said that five police officers involved in the investigation had taken the accused to Uppal in Telangana in a tempotraveler, as part of the investigation. Due to tiredness of long journey, officers fell asleep in a lodge at this movement the accused Ankur Rana took a mobile phone from one of the officers and escaped on the night of October 31. Police have conducted a massive search operation and have been successful in arresting him in Rajasthan and have brought him back to Kodagu, informed SP K Ramarajan.
