An attempted robbery of the Bank of Baroda (BoB) near the main road at Kakotuparambu on Virajpet Madikeri Road has come to light.
The act is said to have taken place on Friday night. A robbery was planned by digging a hole into the bank wall
It has been reported that the robbers also used spray on CCTV cameras to hide their faces from the cameras and also robbers stole the device carrying the camera recording.
Officials and staff of dog Squad, forensic science and fingerprint department have visited spot and conducted inspection. Since it was a continuous holiday, the robbers planned and tried to rob the money from the bank.
