Devjan Jagadish (56), a resident of Kannika Layout, Madikeri, died by suicide after shooting himself in a dilapidated shed on the premises of the Mahila Samaj near Madikeri Fort. A suicide note reportedly cited financial difficulties.
Madikeri Town Police visited the scene and registered a case. He is survived by his wife, two daughters, and a son.
