118th Coorg Open and Handicap Golf Championship Pramod Kurien corners glory

Coorg Open and Handicap Golf Championship was recently held at the Belur Golf Club. Around 35 golfers participated in this oldest tournament in the district over two days.

Pramod Kurien won the coveted open event with a gross score of 165. Dr Prashant T M was declared the runner up with a gross score of 166.

Open Stableford Runner-Up :  Pramod Kurian 22

Handicap Stableford  Winner :   Mahesh J 38

Handicap Stableford Runner-Up :    Ramanathan Nagappan  36

Seniors Stableford Handicap Winner:    Mahesh  J 31

Seniors Stableford Handicap Runner-Up :    Gurumallesh B G        30

Doubles Stableford Handicap Winner:   Ramesh M A and Dr Prashanth T M     68

Doubles Stableford Handicap Runner Up:   Nandan K K and  Naveen K K 67

The prize distribution ceremony was held at the club house of Belur Club. Ramanthan Nagappan announced the names of the winners. Suresh Dasappa senior member and past president of the club gave away the prizes. Pavan Muthappa, Hon, Secretary of the club proposed the vote of thanks.
