Wild elephants attack forest department personnel

Wild elephants attackedthe ETF staff near Injilagerewho went there to drive away elephants which had camped in a coffee plantation. The seriously injured ETF staff were admitted to Muruga Hospital in Virajpet.  Other crew members escaped unhurt. It is reported that when ETF staff went to drive away 12 wild elephants which had camped in the coffee plantation when the incidence occurred. The senior Forest department officials visited the hospital
