State level monitoring committee inspect scanning centers at Kushalanagar

The State level inspection and monitoring committee members visited and inspected the scanning centers of Kushalanagar town recently.  The team visited the Shree Lakshmi Raman Balaji Hospital, Shree Sagar Hospital, Mediplex Diagnostic Centre and Ganesh X-ray and Scanning Center.

According to report given by the team of the district level inspection and monitoring team the members of state level inspection and monitoring committee, under Dr.Vivek Dorai Inspected the centers. During the inspection it was found that Ganesh Scanning Center in Kushalanagar, had made violation of PC & PNDT Act under 1994 rules and that detection of gender is ongoing in the scanning Center. The State Inspection and Monitoring team seized the documents and informed the district level team to file case against Ganesh Scanning Center and ordered to close down the Scanning Center.
