Shivakumar Hootagally, founder President of the Manaviyathe Charitable Trust, informed in a press release that on behalf of Manaviyathe Charitable Trust, the decision has been taken to open an office and Manaviyathe Refugee Ashram and Library at 7th Hoskote, Sunttikoppa. In order to implement some guidelines, a decision was taken in the board meeting of the trust.Â
In the first phase, only those who have taken the NGO membership of Manaviyathe Trust will be considered in the office bearers of the organization. The membership drive of the organization will commence from May 3rd 2024 and it has been approved by the government, the release added.
Any person above the age of 18 years is allowed to become a member of the trust and the person who has taken membership and participates in the activities of the organization has to pay the membership fee. It was also decided that the NGOs of the organization can be selected or removed by the President and trustees.  Â
