A Special pooja was held and silver ornaments offered recently to
Sri Bhagandeswara Swamy at Bhagamandala on behalf of the activists of Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) Kodagu and Bangalore District due to lack of rain and drought situation across the state.
A special offering was made at the holy Tirthakundika of Talacauvery and prayers were made for the mercy of Mother Cauvery so that there would be good rains throughout the state in the coming days.
Secretary of Vishwa Hindu Parishad Jagannath Shastri said that people across Karnataka including Bengaluru are facing a drought situation without rain and without water for drinking and hence Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Bajrang Dal workers offered prayers for timely rain at Talacauvery, the birth place of Cauvery .
