With just over two months left for the historic Madikeri Dasara, former working president Prakash Acharya, former Dashamantapa Committee president Jagadish G.C, and general secretary Yogesh H.L submitted a formal request to Deputy Commissioner Venkat Raja to convene a preparatory meeting for this year’s celebrations. The committee requested full support from the administration to ensure the grand and meaningful organization of Madikeri Dasara, expressing gratitude for last year’s successful event.
Speaking to the media, Prakash Acharya sought cooperation from people’s representatives, officials, and the public for the festival. Jagadish G.C credited the success of last year’s Dasara to the combined efforts of MLA Dr. Mantar Gowda, the Deputy Commissioner, CMC members, temple committees of the four Shakti deities, all ten mantapa committees, and the public. He expressed confidence that more funds will be allocated for this year’s celebration.
