Applications are invited for selection of district level Pratibha Puraskar Award for the year 2024-25 from children between 5 to 18 years of age (as on July 31) who have shown exceptional achievement and talent informed a press release issued by the Office of the Deputy Director, Women and Child Development Department, Kodagu District.

A total of eight awards will be given in the field of innovation, logical achievements, sports, art, culture and music, 2 each in these 4 categories. This district level award includes a certificate and a cash prize of Rs. Ten thousand.

The children who want to be selected for this award must be exceptionally talented and their achievement in the above 4 fields should be recognized as exceptional and their achievement should be reported in newspapers or examined by experts in the concerned field. Age certificate of children should be attested by notary authorities and submitted. If an application has been considered for award in any previous year, it will not be considered again.

The prescribed application forms for the award for the year 2024-25 can be obtained from the Office of the Deputy Director, Women and Child Development Department, Kodagu District and should be filled in duplicate applications along with their achievement in the relevant field must be submitted before October 30 to the Deputy Director, Women and Child Development Department, Chaingate, Mysore Road, Madikeri, Kodagu District. Applications submitted after the due date will not be considered for any reason.
