In a recent press release Rangayana, Mysuru has invited applications from interested candidates towards a 10-month diploma in theatre for the year 2024-25 at Bharatiya Ranga Shikshana Kendra. The institution is affiliated to Dr Gangubai Hanagal University of Music and Performing Arts.

Students should possess basic knowledge on theatre and should have completed PU education. The minimum and maximum age limit is 18 and 28 years. Selected candidates will be provided with accommodation, along with a stipend of Rs 5,000 per month.

The filled-in applications, along with the required documents, should be sent along with an application fee of Rs 230 for general category and Rs 180 for SC/ST and Category-1, (including the brochure fee of Rs 30), through Demand Draft drawn in favour of Deputy Director, Rangayana, Mysuru.

June 20 is the last date for the receipt of filled-in applications. The date of the interview will be intimated through post. The candidates will have to bear the travelling expenses to attend the interview to be held at Rangayana in Mysuru, stated a press release. For details, contact: 0821-2512639,91488 27720.
