Service organisations must adapt to changing societal needs and actively engage the younger generation, said Rotary District 3181 Public Image Committee Vice President Anil H.T.
He was speaking at a programmeorganised by Rotary Woods at Rotary Hall in Madikeri.
Highlighting Rotary’s global vision, he noted that the organisation aims to increase its membership to 1.25 million by 2030. He emphasised the importance of innovative projects and greater youth participation through Interact and Rotaract clubs.
He also mentioned opportunities for environmental and community development projects in Kodagu under large-scale philanthropic initiatives, subject to land availability.
