A three-day passport fair was launched in Kodagu district on Wednesday, facilitated by MP Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wodeyar in coordination with the Ministry of External Affairs.

The initiative aims to benefit residents who previously had to travel to Mysuru or Bengaluru for passport services. The Regional Passport Office, Bengaluru, organised the fair following representations made by the MP.

Citizens who had pre-registered were encouraged to utilise the facility.

Officials present included Municipal Council President P. Kalavathi, Additional Deputy Commissioner R. Aishwarya, and other district authorities.
