In a separate case, the Kutta Police arrested Panjari Eravara Ravi (42) from Rudraguppe near Kutta for allegedly murdering his five-year-old stepdaughter and attempting to kill her twin sister.
Police revealed that a year ago, Ravi had killed one of the twins and buried her body. Recently, he tried to kill the other girl by setting her on fire and pushing her into a pit near Biligere. However, the child managed to escape and was found by locals, who informed the police. Following her statement, authorities arrested Ravi and later exhumed the remains of the first girl, confirming his involvement in both crimes.
