Outstanding Performance by Madikeri Centre in the International Brainobrain Abacus Online Competition

In the recently held 13th International Brainobrain Online Abacus Competition, around 23,128 children competed from 78 countries from all over the world. Madikeri Centre participated with 89 children and eventually won 38 Champion Trophies, 34 Gold Topper Medals and 17 Silver Topper Medals getting a 100% result.

The Centre Head Mrs. Mapangada Kavitha Karumbaiah informed that this online competition was a real challenge for the Children of Madikeri , because they are not very tech savy as the city children.

The children were required to do around 50 complex sums on a Laptop or desktop with audio, video and screen sharing in just 4 minutes time without adult intervention.

In spite of poor network and slow internet being a huge drawback in our hilly region of Madikeri, the Children performed extremely well.

Kavitha Karumbaiah attributed the entire credit to the children and their parents, for taking up this challenge and coming out with flying colours.

Madikeri Centre emerged as the Topper Centre in Karnataka, with the highest number of Champion Trophies.
