Lokayukta DySP Pawan Kumar listens to the grievances of public

Madikeri Lokayukta DySP Pawan Kumar received complaints from the public and listened to the grievances at the tahsalidar office hall, Madikeri recently.

Speaking on the occasion a public complained that he has five and a half cents of land in Ponnampet and to convert to his name a bribe Rs 50,000 is being demanded from a concerned official. He also informed that he lives in Bangalore and more over due to his old age and it is very difficult for him to come to Ponnampet.

Speaking on the occasion, Lokayukta DySP Pawan Kumar assured him that his work will be done on priority within the time limit. 

In another case a lady Mahalakshmi said that she has been visiting Madikeri City Municipal Council (CMC) for a year and a half without getting her land documents and she requested the Lokayukta to help her to make her land documents.  

Reacting to this Vijay, the Municipal Commissioner, informed that a new document has to be made in this regard and assured that it will be attended soon. 

Another petitioner complained that he has to get his title deeds for his land and trying from last one year but not getting any response from the concern officials and still it was not done. The DySp assured him that his work will be done within the time limit.

Speaking on the occasion, Lokayukta DySP Pawan Kumar said that complaints from the public have decreased in recent times and opined that there is improvement and change in the administrative system is being seen now.  

Lokayukta DySP Pawan Kumar also advised to insert Biometric attendance to be implemented in all offices.
