Inter-state and district police officers meet held at Virajpet and Somwarpet

In view of the Lok Sabha elections, an important meeting of inter-state and district police officers was held in Virajpet and Somwarpet to maintain law and order in the border areas.  As per the instructions of higher police officials and election background there were extensive discussions towards maintaining law and order in border areas of Kodagu, Hassan, Mysore and Dakshina Kannada district and Kerala state.  

Illegal activities, Naxal activities, anti-social activities, communal riots, checking at check posts, checking on rowdy sheeters and other issues were discussed in the meeting.

Ravindra, H.T. Krishnakumar, Kutta PSIs C. Irshad, Shakuntala, Napoklu PSI Manjunath, Gonikoppa PSI Rupadevi Biradar, Ponnampet PSI B. Sridhar  were present in the meeting held at Virajpet. 

In the meeting held in Somwarpet, Additional Superintendent of  Police K S Sundar Raj, officers R.V. Gangadharappa, Ashok, Pradeep Kumar, Prakash, K. Rajesh, K. M. Vasantha, G. K. Raghavendra, Veena, Govindaraj, M C Sridhar, P. Mohanaraju, Ravi Shankar, Girish, Saraswati, Jitendra, Manjula were present.
