Yaduveer Krishnadatta Wadiyar BJP candidate of Mysuru- Kodagu Lok Sabha began his election campaign recently in Kodagu district after offering puja at Talacauvery.
Speaking to the media persons subsequently he cleared the allegations that he would be unreachable to the common man. He said that the party workers need not keep a distance as he hails from a royal family. There is democracy in the country and even he is a common citizen, Yaduveer added.
He met party workers at various places in the taluk and sought their support. He had meals with the party workers at noon. He also visited Cherambane, Murnad and Sampaje and met party workers.
He praised the incumbent MP Pratap Simha and said he had laid a strong foundation for the BJP in the district in the last 10 years. “I will continue the development works initiated by him. He is already accompanying me in the campaign in Mysuru. I am confident that he will engage in campaign in Kodagu too in the coming days,” Yaduveer added.
