Inter District Police officers meeting held at Karike

A meeting of inter-district police officers was recently held in the wake of the Lok Sabha elections at the Gram Panchayat (GP) Hall of Karike village on the Kerala border of Kodagu. 

The police officers of Madikeri and Sulya taluk discussed for a very long time and exchanged ideas about the election duty, Law and order including checking of illegal activities in the border areas, collecting of information about persons with criminal background in the inter-district area, method of investigation at various check posts, mutual cooperation from the officers regarding duties were discussed under the supervision of Madikeri DySP Mahesh Kumar. 

Police Officers of Sulya, Rajapuram Kerala,Napoklu and Madikeri Police Station were present in the meeting.
