Dacoity case…Father and son arrested

Kodagu police have arrested a father-son duo identified as Abdul Rehman and his son Tajuddin in a dacoity case reported at Gonikoppa on December 8 last year.

It is reported that the duo had purchased cars and bikes from the money they collected through dacoity. The police have arrested a total of 16 persons and seized 15 cars.

The arrested were residing in a luxurious bungalow in Malappuram and were carrying out theft, dacoity through their accomplices. They had carried out dacoity in Mandya, Chamarajnagar, Mysuru and other places. Further investigation is in progress, the police said
