A 90-day special mediation campaign titled ‘Mediation for the Nation’ was conducted across Kodagu, resulting in the settlement of 61 cases through mediation, informed Shubha, Senior Civil Judge and Member Secretary of the District Legal Services Authority.
As of July 1, 2025, a total of 12,054 cases were eligible for mediation. Out of these, 2,779 cases were taken up, and 61 were successfully resolved. These included 23 matrimonial cases, 3 domestic violence cases, 20 cheque bounce cases, 1 criminal conciliation case, 2 property division cases (civil litigation), and 12 other civil disputes, Senior Civil Judge Shubha said.
