In a violent incident reported from Besagur village in Ponnampet taluk, Aramanamada Sachin (42) allegedly attacked his aunt, Aramanamada Bagu (56), following a dispute over the right of way to agricultural land.
Sachin allegedly pinned his aunt down, sat on her chest, and attacked her with a hoe, before fleeing the scene. The injured woman, who is the mother of a soldier, was admitted to the Army Hospital in Bengaluru for treatment.A case has been registered at the Ponnampet Police Station, and further investigations are underway.
