Rashtriya Lok Adalat will be held in the district on December 13 as per the orders of Karnataka High Court and State Legal Services Authority. Chief District and Sessions Judge and Chairman of Kodagu District Legal Services Authority Hosmani Pundalika   informed that this is a golden opportunity for the public and the parties to settle their cases quickly by mediating their disputes with each other, and to avoid financial burden and time loss, to settle their disputes to maintain their earlier   relationship with each other.

A number of cases have been identified for conciliation in Kodagu district including civil suits, land acquisition, bank recovery, bill petitions, labour cases, MMRD, check bounce, motor vehicle accident, matrimonial cases and criminal compoundable cases eligible for conciliation. 

 Every day, the cases selected for conciliation will be discussed with the concerned lawyers and the parties in advance about the benefits of conciliation negotiations, and they will be persuaded to enter into conciliation negotiations. District Legal Services Authority Member Secretary Shubh said that the lawyers, clients and officials of various departments should participate in the Rashtriya Lok Adalat to be held on December 13 and resolve their disputes through mediation.
