Dear Editor,
Sometime last week “The Temple Kote Mariyamma” near my house was ransacked and gold and silver articles along with a large sum of cash was stolen by some unknown miscreants. A complaint was lodged with the local Police by the Temple committee. Local police came to the spot immediately and with the magnanimous and brilliant supervision by the officers and their team, the culprits were apprehended in record time. I salute these Police Officers and their team for the magnificent job they have done.
Of late Kodagu has become a safe and lucrative place for these illegal migrants from Assam and Bangaladesh to commit crimes like this. My highest appreciation to the Local Police and request them to continue the good work they are doing.
