Virajpet MLA Ajjikuttira S. Ponnappa performed the Bhoomi Puja recently for the development of the road from Ponnappasanthi to Balale in Ponnampet taluk of the Virajpet Assembly constituency.
The road development work will be undertaken at an estimated cost of Rs. 2.30 crore and the project will commence shortly, the MLA said on the occasion. Among those present were Miderira Naveen, Tatu Monnappa, Chettimada Robin, Mukalera Kushalappa, Jimmy Ayyanna, Mallanda Dhyan Devaiah, Konniyanda Somanna, Codanda Somanna, Bodangada Ashok, Pullangada Dinesh, Aramanada Kush, Vinu Uthappa, Machhamada Manu, Allannamada Harish, Girish, AjjikuttiraPonnappa, Kechamada Siddu Nachappa, Manju Devaiah,Nikhil Somanna and others.
