An accident occurred between a KSRTC bus which is coming from Bangalore to Virajpet and a scooty coming from Virajpet near Bittangala resulted in serious injuries to the scooty rider, Girish C.C a resident of Kedamalur. A local auto driver K. Venugopal carried the injured person and the 11-year-old boy Dixit to the Virajpet hospital in his auto but due to heavy injuries the scooter rider died on the way. The boy has been admitted to Virajpet Hospital for further treatment.
It has been reported that Girish met with the accident when he was on his way back home after purchasing some material from a Super Market.
