Kangaroo Care Hospital, Mysuru, organised a social service programme for the welfare of police personnel who are continuously engaged in public service and security duties. Reflective jackets were distributed free of cost by the hospital to traffic police personnel of Madikeri Traffic Police Station who work at night.
The jackets will improve the visibility of police personnel to motorists and the public at night and thereby enhance their safety while on duty. A free health check-up camp was also organised for police officers and personnel in Madikeri. The check-ups were conducted keeping in mind the health of police personnel who work long hours and face considerable work pressure. Several personnel benefited from the camp. Police department officers and personnel appreciated the social service initiative of Kangaroo Care Hospital and expressed their gratitude.
