Speaking to reporters at Mercara Downs Golf Course Helipad Chief Minister (CM) Siddaramaiah said that BJP has not fulfilled even 60 promises after making 600 promises in 2018.

Responding to BJP’s manifesto of providing gas at low price, Yuvashakti, Narishakti, and employment to poor families he questioned and said that whether Prime Minster Narendra Modi bring back black money from foreign countries and distributed 15 lakhs, whether he created 2 crore jobs or doubled the income of farmers.

He also questioned whether the price of food items had decreased and what has Modi done as Prime Minister in the last 10 years? After observing all this CM said that the problem of unemployment has increased in response to the BJP government’s statement that it has created 25 crore jobs. CM refused to comment further on the BJP manifesto and said that he has not yet gone through it.

Replying to question of meeting veteran politician Srinivasa Prasad, CM said that he is a contemporary of Srinivasa Prasad in politics.

Siddaramaiah further said that Prasad contested for assembly in 74, and we were in politics together. “He has retired from politics now and said that he will not support any party and added that he met and enquired about his health but Union Minister Prahlada Joshi said that he visited Srinivasa’s house because he was afraid of defeat, these are foolish statements and I am not interested in answering to those questions”

In reply to former Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy (HDK), who said that girls have gone astray due to the guarantees of the Congress government. CM said that it shows the mentality of Kumaraswamy how he feels about girls. “If a two-time CM talks like this, people will not tolerate it.

Responding to BJP state president B.Y.Vijayendra’s statement that the government  is giving a guarantee by increasing the price of electricity, liquor, bus, stamp paper, CM said does Vijayendra know how much  money needed for free schemes?  Rs 56,000 crore per annum is required for guarantee schemes and Siddaramaiah questioned whether this much of amount will come from above.
