Scouts and Guides Host Divisional-Level Patriotic Singing Competition

The Bharat Scouts and Guides, Karnataka, Kodagu District Association, organized a colourful divisional-level Patriotic Song Singing – “Gana Sudhe”programme at the P.M. Shri Government Model Primary School auditorium recently.

Students from eight districts participated and impressed the audience with their performances.

Addressing the closing ceremony, Assistant State Commissioner (Scout) B.K. Basavaraj said the Scouts and Guides movement promotes discipline, leadership, national unity, and patriotism among students. He urged students to draw inspiration from Kodagu’s distinguished military leaders, Field Marshal K.M. Cariappa and General K.S. Thimayya.

State Training Commissioner Prabhakar Bhatt and District Chief Commissioner K.T. Baby Mathew commended the efforts of participants and organizers. CMC President Kalavathi also appreciated the performances.

Certificates were awarded to students selected for the state-level competition.
