Applications Invited for Best Farmer Awards

Under the ATMA Yojana of the Agriculture Department for 2025-26, Best Farmer Awards at the state, district and taluk levels will be conferred on farmers engaged in agriculture and allied activities.

At the district level, 10 farmers will receive Rs 25,000 each, and at the taluk level 5 farmers will receive Rs 10,000 each, as decided by the district selection committee.         Eligible farmers involved in integrated cropping systems, water management, organic farming, scientific equipment usage, horticulture, dairy, poultry, fisheries, sericulture, high-tech farming, greenhouse cultivation, grafting, plant breeding, agricultural processing, forestry, goat/sheep/rabbit farming and related activities may obtain and submit applications from the office of the Assistant Director of Agriculture of their respective taluk

The filled applications must be submitted by 5:00 pm on November 29, 2025, informed the Joint Director of Agriculture.
