The general meeting of the Pommakkada Koota of the Ponnampet Kodava Samaj was held at the Kodava Samaj auditorium.
The meeting was held under the chairmanship of Pommakkada Koota President Prof. Ittira Kamalakshi Bidappa, in the presence of Ponnampet Kodava Samaj President Kalimada Motaiah and Honorary Secretary Kotera Kishan Uthappa.
The discussions focused on the empowerment of Kodava women, the progress of Pommakkada Koota and various programmes to be organised in the future.
The office-bearers and members of the Koota offered several suggestions and assured their cooperation in further strengthening and organising the activities of the Koota.
Pommakkada Koota Vice-President Kavita of Mideri, Kodava Samaj Vice-President Chiriyapanda Immi Uthappa, Mookalera Kavya Madhu, Gummattira Gangamma, Mookalera Pattu, Mookalera Asha Poonachcha, Ballyamideria Asha, Chekkera Vani Sanju, Koniyanda Kavya and others were present.
