Six NCC cadets from Kodagu Vidyalaya have been selected from the Mangalore Group to participate in the Karnataka-Goa Directorate Shooting Camp.
The selected cadets are Corporal Jeshtha Subbaiah, Cadet Neel Ayyappa, Corporal Yashika Devaiah, Sergeant Adhya Rai, Lance Corporal Nikita K.T., and Lance Corporal Hitapriya P.S.
Notably, six of the total 12 cadets selected from the Mangalore Group, which comprises Kodagu, Mangaluru, Udupi and Shivamogga districts, are from the 19 Karnataka Battalion NCC, Kodagu Vidyalaya, reflecting the school’s strong performance in NCC activities.
The selected cadets will participate in the 10-day shooting camp scheduled to be held from July 17 to 26 at Toranagallu in Vijayapura district, Principal K.S. Sumitra stated.
