A meeting of the Mysore Coffee Processing, Marketing and Warehousing Cooperative Society was held today at a private hall in Somwarpet under the chairmanship of the Society President, Virajpet Assembly Constituency MLA and Legal Advisor to the Chief Minister, Ajjikuttira S. Ponnanna.
During the meeting, discussions were held regarding the revival of the Mysore Coffee Processing, Marketing and Warehousing Cooperative Society Ltd. It was decided to organise a seminar to determine the future role and activities of the Society in enhancing value addition for coffee and other plantation crop products. Strategies and plans were also formulated to ensure the continued growth, profitability and success of the Society in the present scenario. Vice President Prabhu Deva, members, directors, Seminar Forum Chairman N. Bose Mandanna, leaders Chandrakala and Yakub, coffee growers and several prominent leaders were present at the meeting.
