The Arebhashe Academy Honorary Award Presentation ceremony for 2025 was held at Ambedkar Bhavan in Mangaluru on Saturday. The event was organised by the Department of Kannada and Culture in association with the Karnataka Arebhashe Sanskriti and Sahitya Academy.
Karnataka Legislative Assembly Speaker Dr. U.T. Khader Farid, Health and Family Welfare Minister and Dakshina Kannada District in-charge Minister Dinesh Gundu Rao, former Sulya Lions Governor M.B. Sadashiva, Academy President Sadanand Mavaji, Coastal Development Board Chairman M.A. Gafoor, Mangaluru Electricity Supply Company Chairman K. Harish Kumar, Karnataka State Minimum Wage Advisory Board Chairman T.M. Shahid Tekkil, Karnataka Eco-Tourism Development Board Chairperson Shalet Lavina Pinto, Karnataka Geru Development Corporation Chairperson Mamatha D.S. Gatti, and MLC Ivan D’Souza were present.
Dakshina Kannada District Guarantee Implementation Committee President Bharat Mundodi, Kodagu Gowda Society Union President Anand Karandlaje, former Academy member Lokayya Gowda K, VokkaligaraGowda Seva Sangha President Soumya Sukumar, Youth Unit President Kiran Budleguthu, and others also attended.
