Napoklu Assault Case: Four Arrested

Police have arrested four persons in connection with the alleged assault on Hindu organisation activist Appachira Gautham in Napoklu.

The arrested have been identified as P.H. Suhail (24), K.E. Siddique (20), Nafi (19) and Rashid P.A. (30). Following a complaint filed by Karavanda Lava Nanaiah, the accused were produced before the Virajpet court.

Tight police security was deployed in Napoklu, especially as a Hindu Sangama programme was organised in the area.

District Superintendent of Police R.N. Bindu Mani visited the spot and monitored the situation. Personnel from KSRP, District Armed Police and various police stations were deployed in sensitive areas.
