A case has been registered at Madikeri city police station following allegations that a Mandya-based trader was assaulted, stripped and threatened after visiting the house of a Facebook acquaintance.
The complainant, Mahadev H.P. (39), alleged that he was assaulted and extorted. Police have arrested two accused, while investigation is underway to trace the remaining accused.
