The 28th Annual Day Celebration of Coorg Public School and Pre-University College, was held recently. It was an occasion filled with artistic brilliance, cultural depth and proud achievements.
The programme commenced with a captivating Mahadev Shiva Stuthi performance, setting a powerful tone for the celebrations.
The audience was then treated to soulful multilingual choirs, followed by an expressive mime based on the epic Mahabharata that left a strong visual impact. Adding a burst of joy and innocence, the tiny tots charmed everyone with their delightful performance titled “Buzzing Hearts”.

The cultural presentations culminated in a dynamic fusion finale that showcased the creativity, confidence and talent of the students
Dr. M. Ramachandran, presented the Annual Report, highlighting the school’s academic accomplishments, co-curricular milestones and the institution’s continued commitment to holistic education. Excellence Awards were conferred upon students who had demonstrated outstanding academic performance.
A moment of great anticipation followed with the announcement of the year’s honours. The Academic Trophy was won by Sharath House, celebrating their consistent performance and dedication.
The prestigious Cock House Trophy brought a rare moment of shared pride, as it was jointly awarded to the Sharath House and the Varsha House, marking an exceptional year for both the teams.

Dr Shobha M E, Associate Professor in Mathematics, Manipal Institute of Technology and a Former Faculty of the institution graced the occasion as the Chief Guest of the event. She in her address, narrated her journey on being the National Teacher Awardee-2025 and encouraged students to pursue their aspirations with integrity and passion.
Dhanya Subbaiah, The President of the School Trust presided over the function. The esteemed Trust Members and Parent Fraternity also graced the occasion with their presence.
The celebrationconcluded on a note of pride and inspiration, reflecting the spirit, valuesand vibrant culture that define Coorg Public School and Pre-University College.
