Residents of Hullalugod village in Arakalgud taluk of Hassan were apprehended for illegally transporting cows from Kodagu.
The incident occurred when a goods vehicle carrying the animals from Somwarpet met with an accident near Kagadikatte. Following the accident, the accused fled in an escorting Innova car.
A police team led by Inspector Muddu Madeva successfully chased and arrested all three individuals involved in the case.
