Suspicious Death of Teacher in Napoklu

A guest teacher died under suspicious circumstances in Emmemadhu village under Napoklu Police Station limits. The deceased, Safrina Shaik (32), wife of Nazir, was employed at Karnataka Public School, Napoklu. It is alleged that Safrina died by suicide late Wednesday night. Her husband Nazir rushed her to Napoklu Hospital, where she was declared dead.

Her body was taken to Madikeri District Hospital for post-mortem. Police reports suggest marital discord. Napoklu police have registered a case of suspicious death and begun an investigation.
